Jaali Diamonds 1

The Jaalihedra™ Sculpture series combines polyhedral shapes with perforated patterns inspired by jaali - decorative sandstone screens commonly found in the forts and castles of Northwestern India.

Jaali Diamonds 2 features an exterior shape resembling a grouping of shapes known as "rhombic dodecahedra." Each face is decorated with a well-known pattern featuring 10-petaled rosettes. The central rosette of each face is made from a different wood than the rest of the face, adding extra interest and complexity to the piece.
