Jennifer Ablard is a Cyanotype print maker based in Northampton MA. she has always been a maker-minored in art in college ans spent more time working in those classes than her academic ones. After college her creativity took on less artistic but important form 30 plus years later she finally admitted to herself that photography was what she wanted to spend her days doing. She mostly creates images using her digital photographs as source material. She loves the cyanotype process of making photographic images as it harkens back to her darkroom days without the expense, and smell! Her studio is in her basement which has a great source of daylight as well as a dark utility room with a sink!
