Stacey Sherman is a visual artist living in Bennington, Vermont. Her work encompasses various mediums, including colored pencil, encaustic, and oil painting. Much of her work is representational and guided by a lifelong fascination with the unseen, exploring the delicate interplay between the natural world and the mystical.
From a young age, Stacey was captivated by art, dedicating her free time to creative endeavors. Her passion led her to earn a BFA in Painting from the Maine College of Art.
Inspired by a vivid dream of the Southwest, Stacey relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she immersed herself in the city’s vibrant creative community for nearly a decade. This period profoundly influenced her artistic vision. She eventually returned to Vermont, this time with two kids, a couple of cats, and her fiancé, reconnecting with her roots.
Her artwork has been featured in exhibitions throughout the United States. She now works from her studio, in an old mill, in historic Bennington.
