Brian DiNicola is an oil painter working out of Pittsfield Massachusetts. He graduated in 2011 from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a BFA in Illustration. Wanting to pursue more education, he enrolled in their MFA program and received a degree in Painting in 2013.
Brian returned to the Berkshires and immediately began creating. He pushed his work ethic beyond that of the classroom by painting more, applying to exhibits, writing more frequently, and traveling. His work has been included in near to 50 exhibits, his first ever at the Guild of Boston Artists in 2013. Brian continues to place his work in galleries and maintain a hungry work ethic.
Brian focuses on traditional portraiture. He’s driven by the compulsion to capture identities with pigment. He primarily works with human subjects, but has recently delved into animal paintings. Brian’s works have found homes privately as well as adorned numerous gallery-walls throughout the US. He continues to work and study out of his personal studio, reaching for his next goal.
