Munya Avigail Upin was born in Faribault, MN. She began working in metal in high school and has followed the life path of an artist ever since. She spent over 40 years as an educator and then 8 years as a gallery owner. She currently works as much as she can in her studio making jewelry, sculpture and Jewish Ceremonial objects. The studio is Munya's happy place.
